The evenings are noticeably shorter and the sunset is slowly shifting across from the mountains. The days shorten by a quarter of an hour a week so since the end of June the sun sets an hour earlier. Watching the sunset is surely one of the most lovely ways to think of the world as a whole, as one unit. A French film about twenty years ago told the story of Le Rayon Vert. The green ray of light that you see if you watch the sunset with your true love. You have holds and watch it together and don't blink because it is just a moment.
