Day Tripper

Off for the day to Rutland Water. It is a reservoir in the heart of England with spectacular views. Rutland used to be the smallest county in England but is now part of Leicestershire, the heart of Rural England.

There is lots to do there on a sunny day, cycling, bird- watching, sailing, windsurfing, walking, or just driving there to admire the scenery and have a pub lunch with good friends.

On the journey, a striking sunset caused by the wind having blown away the dust. Then a beautiful full moon to guide us home .
