The blossom is coming out more with each ray of sunshine. The trees are politely waiting in the wings. They still have their Winter silhouettes but on close inspection the buds are getting ready to burst forth. The blossom shows up more while the trees are still fairly stark. Many trees and shrubs are evergreen, keeping their foliage all year round . They are always a pleasure to gaze upon. Apparently looking at something green is restful and relaxing. After just half an hour in a wood the body is recharged, the lungs full of healthy air.
An elderly couple that I know ploughed through the trilogy Fifty Shades of grey, on their kindles . Looking at these wonderful hedgerows I'm sure I can see fifty shades of green. Enjoy.
